The Glossary activity can be used in various ways. At its simplest, the tutor can post up a list of words and their definitions. At its most powerful pedagogically it can allow students to work collectively on defining the terms used in their course. Multiple Glossaries can be created, eg one for each course section that are automatically combined into an overarching course glossary.
